David Watters
David Watters was raised in Northern Indiana, and currently lives in Bloomington, Indiana. Hollow & Round, David’s first book from Ledge Mule Press, which was printed by Hound Dog Press in Louisville KY, is a rare synthesis, both meditative and grounded in the quotidian. The poet’s themes are deeply rooted in his love for his young son, and the crucible of parenthood. The result is a gem-like collection of poems that verge on secular prayer. David's second chapbook, Baby, came out in 2016 from Monster House Press. David is currently in the poetry MFA program at Indiana University.
